The exam is multiple choice, with the first 10 questions being scenario based. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 44/50 to pass the exam. As the CSCS card is renewed every 5 years, we always request that the candidates undertake a practice test before sitting the real exam.
If candidates fail the course, they must wait a minimum of 48 hours before carrying out a resit. Resits are charged at full price.
The CSCS test is valid for 2 years.
