About the CITB Computer Test
The CITB HSE Touchscreen test, commonly known as the CSCS test, is a requirement for anyone to get a CSCS card. There are many different exams that can be taken depending on the area of work the candidate wishes to join.
The main computer exam which is booked by construction workers is the General Labourers/Operatives.
Upon Completion of the CITB CSCS Test, candidates must also successfully pass the construction related qualification such as the Level 1 Health and Safety Awareness course to get the relevant card.

Candidates must ensure they have a Valid photo ID.

The exam is multiple choice, with the first 10 questions scenario based. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 44/50 to pass the exam. As the CSCS card is renewed every 5 years, we always request that the candidates undertake a practice test before sitting the real exam.
If candidates fail the course, they must wait a minimum of 48 hours before carrying out a resit. Resits are charged at full price.
The CSCS test is valid for 2 years.
