Led by experienced industry personnel, our training covers everything you’ll need to know to successfully obtain your SMSTS certificate. What does SMSTS stand for? Well, it’s short for Site Management Safety Training Scheme.

So who is this kind of course suitable for? This 5 day training course is aimed for Site Managers or persons who are or about to become responsible for organising, planning, monitoring and administering groups of staff or workforce.Managers on construction sites are required by law to enforce the UK’s health and safety code of practice. The SMSTS Course is recognised by BUILDUK as it meets the mandatory standard for all construction managers working on BUILDUK sites. So there’s no better way to get to grips with all current health and safety regulations.

Upon Completion of the SMSTS Course, the candidate will receive a certificate valid for 5 years. When those five years are almost up, SMSTS certificate holders will be encouraged to take a two-day refresher course to retain their qualification. This is something that we offer here at SRP Training, so you’ll be able to benefit from your SMSTS qualification for years to come.

If you have any questions about us and the training we provide, then please do get in touch with a member of our team today. What are the hours of the course?

The hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm for both weekend and weekday courses approximately.

Can I come in and see you face to face as that would give me peace of mind?

Yes, absolutely we encourage our customers to have a face to face discussion with us regarding their training course and training needs.

This puts your mind at ease so you know you are dealing with real people and a real business that will give you the best service possible.

It will also give you the opportunity to meet some staff members or even your trainer if they are not delivering training at the time of your visit.

What if I don’t have time to visit and have a face to face meeting before the Training dates?

We understand that everyone does not have time to do this, so the next best thing is to have a discussion of whatever questions, queries, or concerns you have with one of our training course administrators.
