Upon Completion of the Level 1 Health and Safety Awareness course, candidates must also successfully pass the CITB HSE Computer Test which will enable you to get the Green CSCS Labourers Card. To prepare for your Computer Test SRP Training will provide you with a Revision App which includes all mock questions, exams and revision material perfect to practice on. That app will be valid for a lifetime! You will never have to purchase the app again and it can be used to revise throughout your construction career.
The CITB HSE Computer Test, commonly known as the CSCS test, is a mandatory requirement for anyone to get a CSCS card. The test is made up of 50 multiple choice questions covering both case study and health & safety knowledge. All candidates are given an optional 15 minute tutorial and 45 minutes to complete the test. Candidates will only get 1 attempt included within our Green CSCS Card Package. If you happen to fail the CITB HSE Computer Test, you will be required to resit at an additional cost of £22.
Once candidates have successfully passed the Level 1 Health and Safety Awareness course and the CITB Computer Test, SRP will apply for the CSCS Card on your behalf which will be posted directly to your home address. That’s right! Sit back, relax and await for your CSCS Card to arrive!

The Level 1 Health and Safety awareness course (CSCS) is divided into several units including the core units below:

- Managers and Professionals test (CSCS Black Card

All candidates will be provided with the option to undertake unlimited practice exams free of charge.
Candidates must ensure they have a Valid photo ID.
Our CSCS course tutors are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals, with extensive experience in Construction and Risk Management.
All SRP Trainers hold numerous health and safety qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate, and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety which is well above the required industry standard to ensure that the delivery of the course is to the highest standard.
This course is highly interactive and will be taught with group work and presentations.
The examination for the CSCS course will be a multiple choice exam at the end. Results for the exam will be made available and certificates will be sent out 10 working days after course completed (certificate time may vary).
SRP Training provide free resits for candidates that fail the Level 1 HSA course.
Renewals: The CSCS course Certificate is valid for 3 years and after this, candidates can undertake a 1 day refresher course to maintain the certificate for a further 3 years.
CSCS Computer Test consists of 50 Questions (multiple choice) completed at a Test Centre.
Is this course accredited?
Yes, it is accredited by the IOSH.
Are there any prerequisites for the Course?
There are no prerequisites for the course, but all delegates are expected to already have a valid CSCS card.
What are the hours of the course?
The hours are 10am to 4pm for both weekend and weekday courses approximately.
